| Ron Kuntz
A natural progression from his high school interest in photography led Ron Kuntz to his current status as one of the most renowned photographers in his illustrious career with United Press International (UPI) in January of 1953. Since that time Ron has visited nearly 2,000 prisons across the country as part of the Bill Glass Ministries. Ron befriended Bill, a former All-Pro football player with the Cleveland Browns in the 1960s. After Bill Glass retired from football, Ron lost track or him, but then he got a call from Bill one day in 1973. He asked if Ron would be interested in going to prison. Ron told him, “not particularly, but what did you have in mind?” That was the beginning - now Ron has been involved in the prison ministries for more than 35 years. He has visited prisons throughout the United States, Peru, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. |
