In 1970, Bill and his wife, Annette, moved in across the street from Bill Glass and his family and they immediately became friends.  Bill and he and their wives have been friends for over 35 years. He joined the board of Bill Glass Ministries in 1973 and began to be active in the prison ministry in 1974.  Having served the ministry as Chairman of the Board for 10 years, he is no longer on the board but is still active in the prison ministry today.
