Perry, GA WOC Thank You Letter

Dear Teammates,

Perry, GA is in the record books, and what a record it is. From the sunshine to the threat of rain YOU pressed toward the mark and 2,602 men and women asked the Spirit of God to start guiding their life, directing their steps, and healing their wounded hearts! What a remarkable two days in South Georgia.

Pulaski State Prison Choir

I was able to introduce many of the Board of Directors to you on Thursday evening which set the stage for a dynamic meeting on Friday. In the 35 years of this ministry we have had great leadership, but never before has the board been so engaged. I thank them for that, and I know that all of us in all parts of the Leadership of CFL realize that you are the key to the success of the Weekend of Champions.

We are praying for events in Mississippi and Florida in May and Atlanta in September. Please pray about being part of the Local Team in your areas.

Don Johnson looked great for a man the doctors said would be dead a year ago. Thank you, Don, for overcoming and serving the Lord with us.

We cannot be lethargic in our approach to the ministry God has given us. We must grow and expand reaching more teammates and inmates. The task is huge. Over 2 million in prisons and jails and the numbers are growing. We truly have never been closer to the return of Christ, and there is work to be done!
Our First Team commitment this weekend grew by 24 members and 49 shares. This increase brings us to a total 1,457 members and 2631.90 shares. Our first objective is to have 10,000 shares, and this will keep us right where we are today with 40 prison events, 22 school programs, 29 juvenile outreaches. When we reach our second goal of 20,000 shares we will be able to double or even triple our effectiveness. Together we can make the greatest impact possible in these "Last Days".
