DFW Youth DOC Thank You Letter

It was hot, and we rose to the occasion with HOT programs like Karim’s RAP music, and moving lyrics from Jen Harris. The stage was set, and you, our teammates rose to the challenge; who, undaunted by the heat, registered a rousing 296 decisions for the Lord!!  Of those, 156 were first time decisions! Great job! You not only conquered the forces of evil and took back what the enemy has stolen, by the grace and power of Jesus, but you personally showed these youth, and the authorities that house them, that someone cares! It is because of your willingness to be used in such a noble cause that the Kingdom of Heaven is richer today.

We covered 6 different youth facilities Saturday with the good news of the gospel of peace, and because of your efforts to be there, a light has shone in a dark place and many hearts were touched. The officers and staff that I talked to were all very impressed with the work that we did, and some of them as well were encouraged and strengthened. All in all, our Lord Jesus was lifted up and the work of the Holy Spirit went fourth to impact lives! You are an awesome army in His hands, and a visible reminder to all that Jesus Lives! Please share your experiences with others, and your church, and pray that the Lord of the harvest will send more laborers into His harvest-field. As the summer gives way to fall, please consider the up-coming opportunities to minister with us again. Bring a friend, your pastor, or your whole church and join us in Bonham, Texas and Gatesville, Texas for a “Day of Champions” on August 30th! Bonham is for the men, and Gatesville will be a special women only opportunity! Houston, Texas “Weekend of Champions” is only a few months away, Oct. 2 - 4, and the Dallas/Ft. Worth “Weekend of Champions” is coming up Nov. 13 – 15. Please prayerfully consider joining us at one or more of these wonderful opportunities!
