Appleton, MN DOC Thank You Letter
The Appleton, MN DOC was a "dress rehearsal" for the Sioux Falls WOC in August. A special Thank You to those from Sioux Falls that made the 300 mile round trip to Appleton. This was our 2nd visit to Prairie Correctional Facility. The first visit was in 2002. It was good having the Sioux Falls WOC Prayer Chairman, Doug Noteboom, Head Coach, Barry Eberhard, Assistant Head Coach, Tracey Eberhard, and Hospitality Chairman, Dee Hayes, on the Appleton DOC Team.
During the first program we realized that nearly everyone we talked to claimed to be a Believer. During the second and third programs we spent more time showing the inmates how to use the CFL Tract to share God's plan of salvation with others and encouraged them to enroll their children in the CEF Bible Correspondence course.
We had great support from the Prairie Staff. Warden Wengler, Assistant Warden Tom Kessler and Chaplain Darrell Grear were with us the entire day.
Having 7 motorcycles "made the day".
There were 100 recorded decisions.
